PROJECT OVERVIEW
USNA Publications Inc. will be publishing a graphic novel entitled: U.S.N.A.: The United States of North America, this coming summer of 2009. USNA is a dynamic adventure story about a future amalgamation of the United States and Canada and the rebel forces operating within this new union. It's a politically charged thriller that is both inventive in the future world it creates and topical in its shadowing of present day events. With the ongoing wars on terrorism and the establishment of Homeland Security in the United States, we are living in a time when the basic rights of the individual are threatened. The picture painted by the authors in the original screenplay, written 22 years ago, is hauntingly prescient and accurate.

USNA represents a new direction in story telling originating in Canada. The graphic novel was originally written as a screenplay by Davy Longworth and Allan Stanleigh in 1987. Further story development was completed with the help of Harry Kalensky. The screenplay is now being adapted into a graphic novel with the art and illustrations of Dave Casey. .

A sample of the art and character sketches from the novel can be seen by visiting The Art section of this site.
